workplace Wellness Workshops

The following psycho-educational workshops focus on mental health, social and emotional wellbeing and holistic wellness in the workplace. This is where participants can learn, connect and support one another. Courses are held at our East London and Cape Town branches, but we can come to you and host a course or workshop at your workplace.

Stress and Burnout Management

This workshop will help employees to better understand stress and burnout as well as how to best prevent and cope with stress signs and symptoms, therefore creating a healthier, stress-free work environment and experience for all. 

Happy and Healthy Relationships in the Workplace

This workshop with help employees to learn how to build happier and healthier relationships, especially in the workplace, by learning how to implement effective conflict management and communication skills. This will help to build and maintain healthier workplace relationships and comradery.

Basic Mental Health Awareness

This workshop will help individuals to become more aware of their overall mental health, how to recognise negative mental health signs and symptoms, how to seek help and how to maintain a healthy state of mind. This will help to create a healthy work environment, with the hopes of reducing absenteeism and boosting workplace performance as a whole.

Goal Setting and Motivation

This workshop will help individuals to learn how to optimize their motivation by learning skills that they can utilise every day in the workplace, therefore helping employees to set their own goals and equip them with skills to reach their goals, to stay motivated and to be disciplined with their minds and time with the hopes of boosting workplace performance and satisfaction. 

Healthy Workplace Habits

This workshop will help individuals to learn helpful skills to promote healthy day-to-day habits that can optimise workplace wellness and performance.

Coping with a Traumatic Event

This workshop will help individuals to learn about trauma, specifically what happens to the mind and body when trauma has been experienced in order to reduce on-going, negative health effects that can affect workplace attendance and performance.
The workshop will cover the concept of trauma, how trauma affects the mind and body, the fight-and-flight system, how to recognise and manage signs and symptoms of trauma and how to seek help when it is needed.

Coping with Grief and Loss

This workshop will help individuals to learn about grief and loss and the benefits of speaking about it, therefore reducing negative overall health effects of these experiences.
The workshop will cover the concepts of grief and loss, the benefits of talking about death and loss, different ways to grieve, tasks of grieving, understanding out assumptive worlds as a way to cope as well as diving deeper into different coping skills.The workshop will cover the concept of trauma, how trauma affects the mind and body, the fight-and-flight system, how to recognise and manage signs and symptoms of trauma and how to seek help when it is needed.

Learning About Myself and Others
– Personality

The purpose of the workshop is for the participant to learn more about who they are, specifically their personality. The workshop takes a look at each unique personality through the Colours self- assessment. Each participant will be taken through a guide that will address each ideal work environment, strengths, characteristics and contributors to stress and how to cope. The workshop will equip participants with better social and emotional skills to benefit them in the workplace and their personal lives.

Learning About Myself and Others – Behavioural Styles

The purpose of the workshop is for the participant to learn more about who they are, specifically their behavioural style and temperament. The workshop takes a look at each unique behavioural style and temperament through the DISC model as well as their strengths and weaknesses, points of conflict/tension and communication. The workshop will equip participants with better social and emotional skills to benefit them in the workplace and their personal lives.

Strengths Assessment

The purpose of this workshop is to help individuals to assess and reflect on their personal strengths and how they can utilise these unique strengths in their workplace while also reflecting on how to identify and target their growth areas.
